Yella Beezy has been arrested and charged with capital murder in connection to the 2020 death of fellow rapper Mo3. New details allege Beezy hired Kewon White to carry out the fatal shooting, which occurred in broad daylight on Interstate 35 in Dallas.
Court documents state that Yella Beezy, whose legal name is Markies Deandre Conway, contacted White and offered him cash payment to orchestrate the hit. Kewon White, who is already serving a nine-year prison sentence on unrelated firearm charges, now faces trial for Mo3’s murder.
Beezy’s charges include capital murder with remuneration, essentially accusing him of putting a bounty on Mo3’s life.
