Yella Beezy Charged with Capital Murder in Connection to Mo3’s Death

Dallas rapper Yella Beezy Charged with Capital Murder for the 2020 slaying of Mo3; Trapboy Freddy Allegedly on the Run

Yella Beezy has been arrested and charged with capital murder in connection to the 2020 death of fellow rapper Mo3. New details allege Beezy hired Kewon White to carry out the fatal shooting, which occurred in broad daylight on Interstate 35 in Dallas.

Court documents state that Yella Beezy, whose legal name is Markies Deandre Conway, contacted White and offered him cash payment to orchestrate the hit. Kewon White, who is already serving a nine-year prison sentence on unrelated firearm charges, now faces trial for Mo3’s murder.

Beezy’s charges include capital murder with remuneration, essentially accusing him of putting a bounty on Mo3’s life.

Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble, was gunned down on November 11, 2020, after being followed on the highway. The rapper was chased on foot and shot multiple times, later dying from his injuries at a local hospital. His death shocked fans and the hip-hop community, as Mo3 had been rising in prominence with a string of successful releases and collaborations.

Following news of Beezy’s arrest, Mo3’s mother expressed her grief and desire for justice on Facebook, writing, “Justice for my baby.”
